Who We Are
About Us
Spes For Community is a community-led grassroots nonprofit organization formed in 2022, led by a woman. It is legally registered with the Kasese municipal council in the category of CBO under the registration number CE/CBS/291/2024/2025.
Spes For Community operates within Kasese municipality, empowering adolescents and young women in urban suburbs to better their lives. We do this through advocacy, providing education scholarships, mentoring, vocational & entrepreneurial skills and creating awareness about sexual reproductive health and rights.
We work with women, teenage mothers, and young adult women by training them in vocational and entrepreneurship skills through providing soft loans so that they can be successful entrepreneurs. We also work with school adolescents by sponsoring their formal education, providing scholastic materials, giving them the platform to explore, discover their natural given talent, and access education scholarships.
